London still remains in a state of shock after the brutal killing of a British soldier. The attackers were armed with machetes and, according to eyewitnesses, were shouting "Allahu Akbar!"
Two black men attacked a military man in London's Woolwich. The victim died; the authorities recognized the crime as an act of terrorism. In connection with the incident, the head of the British government, David Cameron, interrupted his visit to France, and convened a meeting of the state security group.
The Woolwich killing stirred up the British society. The killed soldier was said to have been beheaded. About a hundred activists of the nationalist organization English Defence League clashed with police. Rocks, bottles and trash were used in the clash, so the police had to use batons.
"I killed him because he killed Muslims and I am fed up with people killing Muslims in Afghanistan," one of the attackers said.
The black man, dressed in a grey hooded jacket and black woolly hat, apologises to members of the public who witnessed the horrific scenes before making a number of political statements. "I apologise that women have had to witness this today, but in our land our women have to see the same. You people will never be safe.
"Remove your government, they don't care about you."
