Fish rain every year - Amazing phenomenon

Fish rain in Honduras, a rare meteorological phenomenon. Every year, from May to July when heavy rains occurred for at least 2 hours, as soon as it stopped you can see on the ground hundreds of live fish. People collect them and bring home to roast. Beginning in 1998, locals of Honduras have held an annual festival called "Festival de Lluvia de Peces" to celebrate this phenomenon. It is celebrated in the city of Yoro, Department de Yoro, Honduras.

One hypothesis of the occurrence of the phenomenon lies in the fact that the strong winds lifted into the air out of the water the fish for several kilometers in height, as the waters of the Caribbean Sea off the north coast of Honduras abound with fish and other seafood. However, no one has ever witnessed, as it is accurate.
