US Boeing 747 crash at Bagram airfield in Afghanistan

A civilian cargo plane crash in Bagram Air Field north of Kabul in Afghanistan and killed seven people on April 29, 2013. All of the seven passengers are American citizens.

Youtube commenter Sulako analyzed the cause of the crash as cargo imbalance. He said "I'm a pilot. Here's what happened. On takeoff, the airplane pitched up, just like normal. Some of the cargo (military vehicles which weigh 14,000 lbs each) came loose and moved rearward, which pushed the center of gravity rearward. The airplane pitched up uncontrollably, which ended in a stall. A typical sign of an uncontrolled stall is a wing drop, which is what you see in the video. The crew managed to level the wings, but they weren't high enough to pull out of the resulting dive".
