British physicist Stephen Hawking warns human beings won’t survive without escaping from earth. His forecast is people will become extinct on Earth within a thousand years.
The Belfast Telegraphs reports:
"We must continue to go into space for humanity. If you understand how the universe operates, you control it in a way," Professor Hawking said, adding that "we won't survive another 1,000 years without escaping our fragile planet."
Expanding out into space will have an even greater effect. It will completely change our future as human race and to know whether we have any future on the other worlds.
Hawking spent his career decoding our universe, constructing theory and research on black holes and the origin of life and matter.
He also reiterated his belief at the conference as to why humanity exists, he refer to M-theory, a unifying mathematics and physics theory which includes the suggestion that there are higher dimensions in our space time.
"To understand the universe at the deepest level, we have to understand why is there something rather than nothing," he added.
